Following action from our third party service provider , Service was restored (at 3.30 a.m. this morning).

We continue to monitor the situation.

We appear to be experiencing a perimeter firewall failure affecting the campus link to the Internet.

Our service provider network operations centre notified us of the outage at about 20:11.

Currently our service provider are working on diagnosis and remediation.
