ESS systems upgrade

As the work progresses on this, there may be brief (less than a minute) disruptions to smb/nfs services this evening between 19.30 and 21.30
The work is underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.
We are planning to upgrade our ESS systems (research data systems that use ESS (estorage.dundee.ac.uk )) to the latest version over the next one week period.
Some performance degradation may be experienced, this is normal and expected. Also, some batches of the cluster nodes will be closed for job schedules during this time.
