The work is now complete. Thanks for your patience.
The work is underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.
On Sunday 13th March, we are undertaking a roll-back action from the firewall change implemented on Sat 26th Feb. The short notice is to ensure a return to network stability as soon as possible, and this is the recommended action by our partner Sonicwall, until they can fully determine the root-cause of the instability we've experienced over the last 2 weeks.
Whilst we make this change, all Inbound and Outbound internet traffic will be disrupted for a short window during the work, and be at-risk for the duration of the change window.
The Firewalls are a key building block to the delivery of a secure network service, so it is important that we progress this change in as timely a manner as possible. We understand the short notice given for this work, but it is in the best interests of the organisation to ensure service stability is restored as soon as possible.
Potential Impact: It is expected that during the first 30-45mins of the change window, internet access will be unavailable, with the rest of the window seen as at risk of disruption. It is recommended that during this time, users refrain from using the service to avoid impact of experience.
What should we do?: If you should experience an issue outside of this window then please continue to raise tickets in the usual way, however, please do not raise a ticket during this window if your issue relates to internet access and connectivity.
