On Saturday 19 June between 10:00 and 13:00 BST, our engineers will be working with our external support company to test the effectiveness of a recently applied software update to the data centre firewall in resolving a long-standing issue. The external support company will also be taking the opportunity to diagnose the cause of a failed hardware component in the firewall.
As the firewall runs as a high availability pair, we are not expecting any disruption, but the system should be considered at a small risk during this window.
While we don't expect any issues, sometimes unexpected things happen. We'll update this post with progress.
