Our third-party vendor Microsoft is upgrading the way multi-factor authentication works in the Microsoft Authenticator App, during which time the service will available but at risk.

With increasing adoption of strong authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA) fatigue attacks (aka, MFA spamming) have become more prevalent. Number matching is a key security upgrade to traditional MFA notifications and Microsoft have decided to enforce this feature by default in the Microsoft Authenticator app.

While we don't expect any issues, sometimes unexpected things happen. We'll update this post with progress.
