The connectivity issues into the Dundee network from Virgin Media connections, continue to affect (a small number) of users trying to access mydesktop.dundee.ac.uk and the VPN.

Affected users have Virgin Media as an ISP.

Our third party partners , JISC , have confirmed we are not the only educational site affected and are actively looking into the issue, and are engaging with Virgin for a solution.

For anyone affected by this issue, the only workaround at this time would be to work on campus.

Affected by this issue? Login to the Help4U Self-Service Portal (https://uod-servicedesk.topdesk.net/), click on the relevant 'Broad service disruption', then select 'I am affected by this disruption'.

Thanks for your patience.

There is also an issue with authentication with Dundee accounts if you are at another eduroam site - eduroam providers are currently investigating.
