We're making a change to the University’s wireless network, during which time there may be a disruption to Life Science wireless connections and this service should be considered at risk.
This change is part of the preparation work for the network migration project for the network segment containing Life Sciences.
We recommend that during the change window, Life Sciences users refrain from connecting to the University’s wireless network to avoid impact of experience. If an internet connection is essential, we advise connecting directly through a wired connection as this service will not be impacted.
Users may experience a brief period of outage as the VLAN change takes place. If there is a prolonged internet access issues experienced the first step should be to forget the wireless network and re-connect completing authentication with your Dundee/Life science user account.
While we don't expect any issues, sometimes unexpected things happen. We'll update this post with progress.
